This sculptural installation at The Hive, Worcester’s award-winning library was developed as a part of the joint show ‘Honey for The Hive’.

Magazines discarded by library users were harvested and recycled into large sheets which were then incised with statements, allowing the fabric of the building to show through.

My intention was to produce a work that was architectural in scale, which explored ideas around text, reading and the power of the imagination, yet which fitted with the library’s inclusive ethos, environmental sustainability remit and stringent safety policies.
